Overview

The Regional Sales Manager for Spain and Portugal will be responsible for driving business growth and exceeding sales targets in assigned territories.

In Short

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the beverage segments.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales targets set in the Sales and Marketing Plan.
  • Report on key factors affecting sales and marketing performance.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs.
  • Provide technical sales support and product expertise to clients and distributors.
  • Promote Fermentis solutions through various channels.
  • Manage distribution networks and support distributors to achieve shared goals.
  • Ensure good customer service and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant field such as oenology or food science.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales or account management in the beverage sector.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and developing new business.
  • Excellent understanding of wine, beer, and/or spirits markets in Spain.
  • Strong technical experience in yeast and fermentation processes.
  • Fluency in Spanish and Portuguese, with excellent communication skills in English.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
