Overview

The Senior Philanthropy Officer (SPO) at KIND will work with high-capacity donors to achieve their giving objectives through major and planned gifts, while also managing a portfolio of donor relationships.

In Short

  • Manage a portfolio of 100-125 individuals and family foundations.
  • Develop strategies to upgrade current donors and identify new prospects.
  • Provide innovative stewardship for existing donors.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Execute small-scale cultivation events.
  • Manage Salesforce for donor tracking.
  • Lead team projects as needed.
  • Approach work with creativity and persistence.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Minimum of 8 years of development experience.
  • Track record of managing donor portfolios.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proven results-driven approach.
  • Ability to travel for donor engagements.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in a remote work environment preferred.
