Overview

KIND seeks a Senior Paralegal to support the delivery of legal services through case preparation, legal research, and related tasks, potentially supervising paralegals and interns.

In Short

• Oversees the paralegal program and provides training and supervision.
• Conducts legal research and prepares immigration benefit forms.
• Ensures timely file maintenance and data entry.
• Assists clients in preparation for hearings.
• Tracks referral and intake metrics.
• Supervises intake interviews and case presentations.
• Assesses social service needs for clients.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or high school diploma with relevant experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Experience with at-risk youth and vulnerable populations.
• Experience in humanitarian-based immigration work.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects.
• Experience in delivering presentations on legal topics.
• Proven supervisory skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
