Overview

The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) works directly with the Vice President of Strategic Accounts to ensure the success of strategic accounts, focusing on customer relationship management and business growth through cross-selling and up-selling services.

In Short

  • Act as senior point of contact with customers and establish productive relationships.
  • Manage customer relationships and develop strategic plans.
  • Ensure service delivery meets contracted requirements.
  • Analyze KPIs to implement action plans for improvement.
  • Grow current business through cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Meet assigned sales quotas and profitability expectations.
  • Monitor client billing and collection issues.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with assigned customers.

Requirements

  • Understanding of operations account management processes.
  • Experience with sales software and CRM/ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Ability to identify and close sales opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Availability for 50% domestic travel.
  • Experience in facilities services industry.
  • Proficiency with Excel and Salesforce.
  • Experience managing large, multimillion dollar accounts.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience.
