Overview

The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) at KBS plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of strategic accounts through strong customer relationships and effective management of service delivery.

In Short

  • Act as the senior point of contact with customers.
  • Manage customer relationships and develop strategic plans.
  • Ensure service delivery meets customer requirements.
  • Analyze KPIs to implement action plans for improvement.
  • Grow business through cross-selling and up-selling services.
  • Meet assigned sales quotas and profitability expectations.
  • Assist with client billing and collections.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with customers.
  • Available for 50% travel.
  • Work closely with internal departments and leadership.

Requirements

  • Understanding of account management processes.
  • Familiarity with sales software and CRM/ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Ability to identify and close sales opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • 3+ years of experience in strategic account management.
  • Experience in the janitorial industry with logistics accounts.
  • Proficiency with Excel.
  • Experience with large national accounts.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience.
