Head of Facility Management - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Head of Facility Management for one of our clients, responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of facility management across various domains.

In Short

• Strategic and operational leadership of Facility Management (technical, infrastructural, commercial)
• Leadership, motivation, and development of the Facility Management team
• Responsibility for maintenance, servicing, and modernization of buildings and technical systems
• Planning and management of service providers and external partners, including contract and budget negotiations
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and quality and safety standards
• Initiation and implementation of projects in sustainability, energy efficiency, and digitalization
• Budget responsibility and creation of reports and key figures for management
• Close collaboration with internal interfaces such as HR, IT, finance, and occupational safety

Requirements

• Completed studies in Facility Management, construction, architecture, supply engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in Facility Management, ideally in a managerial role
• In-depth knowledge of technical, infrastructural, and commercial FM processes
• Experience in project and contract management as well as in managing external service providers
• Leadership skills, organizational strength, and hands-on mentality
• Analytical, strategic thinking combined with pragmatism and solution orientation
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
