Overview

The National Account Manager will drive and deliver profitable market share gains within the national Food, Beverage, and Key Customer Market Segments, managing and growing existing customers while developing new partnerships.

In Short

  • Establish contracts with, and profitably grow, new and existing customers
  • Drive consumption of products/services, and implement pricing actions
  • Develop corporate relationships with strategic clients
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams
  • Document and gain customer agreement on value creation
  • Provide mentoring and leadership to sales teams
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with regional sales teams
  • Achieve goals through effective account management

Requirements

  • 7-9 years of professional sales experience
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 35%
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Strong influencing and teamwork skills
  • Experience negotiating and closing significant contracts
  • Working knowledge of operational processes and sales management
  • Ability to manage workflow through a CRM system
  • Effective communication skills in virtual settings
