In Short

• Complete smaller projects autonomously with oversight on new problems.
• Work as part of the Queueing and DBOps team.
• Support massive real-time traffic ensuring fairness and predictability.
• Prioritize activities with limited guidance.
• Proactively seek guidance when needed.
• Build tools for engineering teams to handle varying traffic patterns.
• Collaborate with a small engineering team.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Form opinions with input from diverse team members.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Experience with asynchronous systems.
• Experience with queueing technology (Pulsar, RMQ, SQS, Kafka).
• Database schema design and query optimization skills (Postgres).
• Proficiency in Scala and/or Java.
• A passion for improving developer experience.
• Team player with a passion for learning.
• Legally authorized to work in the US.
