Senior Systems Support Specialist I - Medical Imaging / Linux - Remote

Overview

The Senior System Support Specialist is a critical part of our Healthcare IT team, specializing in Radiology Information Systems (RIS), Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), and other medical imaging solutions. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and troubleshooting for radiology IT systems in hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Radiology IT systems.

• Support DICOM, HL7, and other healthcare interoperability standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues while maintaining communication.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning for radiology IT environments.
• Handle sensitive patient data in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Document all troubleshooting activities and resolutions.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for support outside normal hours.
• Adhere to quality and regulatory compliance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Healthcare IT, preferably in radiology systems support.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with technical and clinical personnel.
• Experience with ticketing systems like Salesforce ServiceCloud or ServiceNow.
• Strong knowledge of PACS, RIS, VNA, and medical imaging workflows.
• Proficiency in Windows OS, networking, SQL Server, and/or Oracle.
• Understanding of medical informatics architecture and Linux.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and HIPAA compliance.
