Overview

Aker Systems is looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist to provide expert-level support and administration across core IT platforms, ensuring operational security and service delivery.

In Short

• Lead administration of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and AWS.
• Be responsible for final escalations for technical issues.
• Ensure Aker’s Corporate IT is performing to high standards.
• Manage system patching, updates, and compliance configurations.
• Implement and enforce BYOD policies and endpoint protection.
• Deliver onboarding and continuous training for internal users.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring technical issues.
• Collaborate with IT leadership and product teams.
• Monitor system usage and produce compliance reports.
• Take ownership of internal platforms like JIRA and Confluence.

Requirements

• 7+ years of IT support and systems administration experience.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Azure AD.
• Experience in Windows and macOS environments.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently in a high-demand environment.
• Experience in strategic IT planning.
• Certifications in Microsoft Azure and AWS are essential.
• Proficient in Powershell and Graph API.
• Experience with compliance frameworks like ISO 27001.
