Overview

The Technical Support Engineer will work closely with the commercial team in Europe, INEOS Grenadier retailers, and customers, focusing on vehicle support from a Technical Service Engineering perspective to ensure vehicle uptime and customer satisfaction.

In Short

  • Ensure customer-centric support for vehicle issues.
  • Conduct field visits to retailers and customers in Europe.
  • Analyze root causes to enhance quality and reduce claims.
  • Liaise with technical teams to identify risks and improvements.
  • Provide alternative support options for customers without network coverage.
  • Assist workshops with efficient repair processes.
  • Participate in operational reviews with the Aftersales team.
  • Support fleet managers and operators directly.
  • Review technical publications and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Participate in developing ongoing vehicle product requirements.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in Aftersales & Technical service engineering.
  • Recognizable technical qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Broad experience in Automotive Technical Service Engineering & Aftersales.
  • Strong diagnostic and analysis skills.
  • Ability to develop Technical & Aftersales tools and strategies.
  • Drive for continuous improvement with a Kaizen mentality.
  • Customer service skills and relationship building abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Essential IT skills.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
