Overview

The Technical Support Engineer will provide front line technical support for customers, field engineers, and sales professionals, resolving Tier 1 customer issues and documenting complaints within a CRM database.

In Short

  • Provide technical phone support for customers and field personnel.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex robotic problems.
  • Document issues in a CRM database.
  • Drive resolution of product performance issues.
  • Assist with onboarding and mentorship of new team members.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned.
  • Maintain knowledge of operating room protocols and equipment.
  • Flexibility in work schedule, including holidays and on-call duties.
  • Assist with service requests in SAP/CRM.
  • Act as a Medical Device Consultant in Austria and Germany after training.

Requirements

  • A degree in electronics or mechanical engineering or 2 years related experience.
  • Experience in Technical Support in a call center, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Effective analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in French, Dutch, and English, or any other European language.
  • Working knowledge of computers and standard software applications.
  • Minimal travel required.
