Overview

The Merchant Onboarding Specialist will support merchants in their onboarding journey, ensuring successful activation and understanding of HitPay’s products.

In Short

  • Act as the first point of contact for newly onboarded merchants in the Philippines.
  • Provide product knowledge and guidance for activating HitPay’s solutions.
  • Support merchants in payment method activation.
  • Guide merchants on best practices for using HitPay tools.
  • Troubleshoot onboarding issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Compliance, and Product teams.
  • Track and report onboarding progress and feedback.
  • Contribute to knowledge base and FAQs.

Requirements

  • Based in the Philippines, either Remote or Hybrid.
  • 1–3 years of experience in customer support, merchant onboarding, payments, fintech, or e-commerce.
  • Strong communication skills in English; Tagalog a plus.
  • Ability to explain technical processes simply to non-technical users.
  • Familiarity with payment methods and e-commerce tools is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable in a contract role focused on high-volume merchant support.
