Overview

As a Sales Representative at Heartland, a Global Payments Company, you will be responsible for prospecting and presenting Point of Sale solutions to small and mid-sized businesses, ultimately closing deals within a fast sales cycle.

In Short

  • Prospect and close sales for Heartland Point of Sale solutions.
  • Work closely with the District Manager to set appointments.
  • Conduct presentations both in person and over the phone.
  • Maintain client records in the CRM system.
  • Achieve minimum production requirements.
  • Continuously build knowledge of product/service portfolio.
  • Attend weekly team meetings and one-on-ones.
  • Drive to client sites regularly.
  • Participate in training with the District Manager.
  • Build referral partnerships for new clients.

Requirements

  • Excellent prospecting and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Incentive-driven sales mentality.
  • Professional demeanor and integrity.
  • High sense of urgency and sales talent.
  • Enjoys cold-calling and face-to-face interaction.
  • Knowledge of Restaurant and/or Retail industry is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license for client visits.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Background check and drug screening required.
