Overview

The Software Relationship Manager at Heartland will engage with small and mid-sized businesses to present and sell Point of Sale solutions, leveraging a fast sales cycle and building strong client relationships.

In Short

  • Responsible for prospecting and closing sales of Heartland's Point of Sale solutions.
  • Conduct in-person and phone presentations to small and mid-sized businesses.
  • Collaborate with District Managers to set appointments and run sales meetings.
  • Utilize CRM platforms like Atlas and Salesforce for sales tracking and client management.
  • Maintain client records and achieve production requirements.
  • Build knowledge of financial technology products and services.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and one-on-ones with leadership.
  • High level of communication and networking skills required.
  • Cold-calling and face-to-face interactions with potential clients.
  • Valid driver’s license required for client visits.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • At least two years of relevant sales experience.
  • Excellent prospecting and networking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong integrity and professional demeanor.
  • Knowledge of the restaurant or retail industry is a plus.
  • Ability to drive to client sites regularly.
  • Completion of mandatory drug screening.
  • Live within the job posting location area.
