Overview

The Software Relationship Manager at Heartland is responsible for prospecting and closing sales for Point of Sale solutions to small and mid-sized businesses, utilizing both in-person and remote communication strategies.

• Prospect and close sales for Heartland's Point of Sale solutions.
• Conduct presentations both in person and over the phone.
• Work closely with the District Manager to set appointments.
• Utilize CRM platforms like Atlas and Salesforce for lead generation.
• Achieve production requirements to secure quota.
• Maintain client records and communication in the CRM system.
• Continuously build knowledge of product offerings and industry trends.
• Participate in team meetings and one-on-ones with leadership.
• Drive to client locations, requiring a valid driver's license.
• Enjoy cold calling and face-to-face interactions.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• At least two years of relevant sales experience.
• Excellent communication and networking skills.
• Professional demeanor with integrity.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Knowledge of the Restaurant and/or Retail industry is a plus.
• Must reside in the area relative to job posting location.
• Ability to spend 75% of time in the field.
• Completion of background check and drug screening required.
