Overview

The IT Support Engineer will focus on providing technical support to IT departments and medical users in clinics and practices using the ViewPoint software, primarily from a home office.

  • Ensure reliable follow-up and complete documentation of services.
  • Perform remote installation and configuration of software.
  • Analyze problems and provide solutions in collaboration with the development team.
  • Ensure smooth customer support operations and adherence to quality assurance measures.
  • Collaborate closely with field service and product development teams.
  • Support the development of test scenarios and statistics from database sources.
  • Work in a flexible home office environment, with rare on-site customer visits.

Requirements

  • Completed education in information technology (e.g., IT specialist for system integration).
  • Experience in service and support of networks and software products.
  • Strong technical understanding and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Windows operating systems and networking protocols.
  • Knowledge of DICOM and PACS technology is a plus.
  • Fluency in German and English; knowledge of another language is a plus.
  • Experience with relational databases, SQL, and web programming languages (JavaScript, HTML).
  • Flexibility and teamwork skills.
  • Strong self-motivation and resilience.
  • Ability to work independently.
