Overview

The Zonal Technical Support Specialist drives customer satisfaction through service excellence by providing both remote and onsite technical support and counsel to Field Engineers (FEs) and customers experiencing system performance issues.

In Short

  • Provide remote and on-site technical support for Ultrasound modality.
  • Support Field Engineers and customers with system performance issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Ultrasound products and tools.
  • Implement corrective action plans for service-related escalations.
  • Collaborate with various teams to achieve service metrics.
  • Coach and train Field Engineers on technical and customer service skills.
  • Travel to customer sites for escalations.
  • Enhance modality knowledge including networking and PACS.
  • Ensure a safe working environment.
  • Act as a change agent for service quality improvements.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Graduate in Engineering.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Field Engineer in Ultrasound systems.
  • Ability to resolve complex technical issues independently.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Effective coaching and organizational abilities.
  • Proactive self-starter.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration.
