IT Support Engineer - Remote

Overview

The IT Support Engineer is responsible for developing customer satisfaction through the installation, training, operation, and integration of Werfen's clinical software platforms and analyzer interfaces, covering projects throughout Colombia.

In Short

• Provide customer assistance and support for clinical software platforms.
• Instruct clients and support personnel in software operation and troubleshooting.
• Design and implement integration models with third-party software.
• Manage CSW implementation projects, including hardware and connectivity setup.
• Create and manage documentation including client manuals and network topologies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and manage software updates.
• Coordinate quotes for analyzer interfaces and manage purchase orders.
• Work with clients to manage and monitor execution of projects.
• Evaluate and acquire new technologies relevant to clinical software solutions.
• Provide remote and on-site support as needed.

Requirements

• BA or BS in Electronics, Computing, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology or related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Medium level of English proficiency.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
• Strong organizational and presentation skills.
• Systemic thinking and good judgement.
• Approachability and teamwork capabilities.
