Overview

The Federal Inside Sales Representative serves as a key support role within the sales organization, responsible for managing and expanding customer and partner relationships, supporting account executives, and driving sales initiatives across federal accounts.

In Short

  • Primary point of contact for customer and partner engagement.
  • Support Account Executives in account strategies and sales initiatives.
  • Conduct outreach within federal agencies to identify new business opportunities.
  • Qualify leads and perform initial outreach to prospective customers.
  • Manage maintenance renewals and track contract timelines.
  • Collaborate with marketing and account teams for event engagement.
  • Assist with event coordination and sponsorships.
  • Monitor government bid boards for relevant opportunities.
  • Generate and manage sales quotes and proposals.
  • Build relationships with key OEMs and distributors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2–4 years of inside sales or business development experience.
  • Experience with federal government customers.
  • Familiarity with government procurement platforms.
  • Success in lead qualification and pipeline development.
  • Experience coordinating with distributors.
  • Ability to generate quotes and support sales operations.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience supporting marketing events is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
