Overview

The Pathology Account Executive is responsible for driving growth in diagnostic pathology and precision oncology accounts by building strong partnerships with healthcare providers and increasing tissue testing volume through strategic sales and education.

In Short

  • Deliver in-field training on pathology workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues.
  • Forecast sales and manage account pipelines via CRM.
  • Build long-term relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Work in coordination with multiple cross-functional partners.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in account management in pathology sales or oncology-related roles.
  • Deep knowledge of FFPE Tissue based NGS/CGP testing.
  • Strong understanding of pathology workflows and molecular diagnostics.
  • Customer-first mindset with ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated track record in a consultative sales environment.
  • Familiarity with pathology billing and lab contracting.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
  • Ability to travel over 50% within the territory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field required.
  • Advanced degree or clinical/lab background is a plus.
