Overview

The Account Executive for the Pathology Sales team is responsible for driving growth in diagnostic pathology and precision oncology accounts through strong partnerships with healthcare providers.

In Short

  • Drive tissue testing volume growth in assigned regions.
  • Promote precision oncology diagnostics and Guardant Health testing portfolio.
  • Execute Laboratory Service Agreements and negotiate pricing agreements.
  • Target and close new business opportunities in pathology accounts.
  • Manage and expand existing accounts for client satisfaction.
  • Deliver in-field training on diagnostic tests and workflows.
  • Build long-term relationships with pathologists and oncologists.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues.
  • Forecast sales and manage account pipelines via CRM.
  • Travel required within territory.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in account management in pathology sales or oncology-related roles.
  • Deep knowledge of FFPE Tissue based NGS / CGP testing.
  • Strong understanding of pathology workflows and molecular diagnostics.
  • Customer-first mindset with ability to influence clinical decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated track record in a consultative sales environment.
  • Familiarity with pathology billing and lab contracting is a plus.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pathology, business, or related field required.
