Staff Data Engineer, Energy - Remote

Overview

The GoodLeap team is looking for a hands-on Data Engineer with a strong background in API data integrations, Spark processing, and data lake development. The successful candidate will help ingest production energy data and provide aggregated metrics to various teams within the organization.

• Implement data integrations across the organization.
• Develop and maintain data-oriented web applications.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of Data Analysis and/or Software Development experience.
• Experience with data warehousing and BI/Visualization tools.
• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Experience with DataBricks/Spark processing.
• Expertise with relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with orchestrating data pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of open source web frameworks.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Experience with server-less technologies.
• Experience with large, complex codebases.
