Overview

We are looking for a dedicated, independent, and motivated individual to join our Sales Team in Switzerland as an Area Sales Manager.

In Short

  • Managing and developing existing customers in the German-speaking part of Switzerland (Food & Beverage and Financial Institutions).
  • Active acquisition of new customers in your sales area.
  • Consulting on solutions and services with real business impact.
  • Market and competitive analysis, as well as participation in new solutions.

Requirements

  • Technical education with commercial qualification or commercial training with technical understanding/experience; further training in sales is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in selling capital goods and system solutions; experience in an international company is desirable.
  • Industry knowledge in the Food & Beverage or Financial Institutions sector is preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial, networked thinking, and a strong customer and market orientation.
  • Analytical and strategic strength, structured approach, and high self-organization.
  • Convincing appearance, negotiation skills, and enjoyment of acquisition and relationship management.
  • Fluent in German and good English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel within the sales area (mainly German-speaking Switzerland).
