Overview

Geotab is seeking an Outbound Business Development Representative to develop sales activity within assigned segments/channels by presenting solutions to existing and prospective clients through outbound prospecting.

In Short

  • Develop a deep knowledge of all Geotab solutions.
  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach.
  • Engage prospects and demonstrate capabilities of Geotab.
  • Identify prospect needs and communicate solutions effectively.
  • Maintain technical knowledge of the Geotab ecosystem.
  • Support partner/customer information gathering and CRM maintenance.
  • Work with Sales Manager to manage pipeline and meet sales goals.
  • Participate in sales and channel development strategies.
  • Attend and support industry trade shows.
  • Build company credibility and brand value.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years experience in technical sales.
  • Channel sales experience preferred.
  • Understanding of fleet management and telematics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong listening skills and ability to develop rapport.
  • Technical competence with software programs.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to translate technical solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Strong aptitude for understanding technical and business requirements.
  • Persistence in follow-up and lead conversion.
