Overview

As an Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) at Bloomerang, you will play a critical role in generating new business opportunities for nonprofits by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers.

In Short

  • Stay current on Bloomerang's one-giving platform.
  • Identify and reach out to nonprofit organizations through strategic outbound efforts.
  • Manage a 90-day pipeline of high-quality potential meetings.
  • Make impactful first impressions by sharing compelling stories and case studies.
  • Utilize a mix of outreach methods to engage and qualify accounts.
  • Work closely with the Account Executive team.
  • Consistently meet and exceed business development targets.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of sales data and lead tracking through Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
  • A passion for helping nonprofits.
  • A self-starter mentality.
  • Resilience and persistence.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills.
  • A curious and coachable mindset.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Outreach is a plus.
