Overview

The Sales Operations - Deal Desk Specialist governs complex, high-value, and non-standard sales opportunities to ensure they are complete, compliant, and ready to progress through the sales lifecycle.

In Short

  • Conduct intake of complex sales opportunities to ensure completeness and readiness for review
  • Collect, review, and validate supporting artifacts, including related agreements, previously approved pricing, and prior compliance or vetting reviews
  • Manage collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, including Contracts/Legal, Pricing, Compliance, Vetting, and Billing
  • Promote communication between Sales and internal partners during deal structuring and approval
  • Support Sales with follow-up items required to advance opportunities through approval workflows
  • Track deal progress and dependencies, holding team members accountable to timelines and Service level agreements
  • Ensure all required approvals are secured, documented, and recorded before opportunities progress through sales stages and execution
  • Identify recurring issues, bottlenecks, and quality gaps in deal execution. Recommend process improvements and opportunities for automation

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience supporting complex B2B sales processes, deal governance, or revenue operations
  • Experience working with multiple teams and internal partners
  • High judgment, attention to detail, and ability to operate in ambiguity
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce)
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and drive process improvement initiatives
