Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager to join our Regional team reporting to the West Area Director. This position will be responsible for all regional personnel decisions including training, coaching and development, as well as manage the territory sales representatives and guide their activities while simultaneously coordinating sales strategies.

In Short

  • Meet and exceed established quotas and sales revenue targets for the assigned geographical area.
  • Direct staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop sales personnel.
  • Directly supervise sales employees in the region.
  • Assist in development of territories, forecasting and sales quotas.
  • Analyze sales data and market information to drive new programs.
  • Monitor and execute control of area expenses.
  • Represent company at regional and national trade shows.
  • Communicate relevant information to sales representatives and leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local and company policies.
  • Provide training to new representatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales/sales management.
  • Proven track record in pharmaceutical/biotech sales.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Effective planning, organizational and task management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through.
  • Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent facilitation and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with CRM, MS Office Product Suite, Apple products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
