Business Development Manager Japan - Remote

Overview

This position involves proposing and building relationships for drug discovery research support services targeting pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and academia in Japan.

In Short

• Proposal of contract services focused on in vitro safety pharmacology and pharmacological assays.
• Consultation based on customer needs for assay design and testing content in collaboration with technical teams from overseas facilities.
• Building relationships with existing customers and developing new accounts.
• Preparation of estimates and coordination with overseas research facilities (USA, Taiwan, etc.).
• Public relations and customer engagement at conferences, exhibitions, and seminars.

Requirements

• Experience in sales or research-related work in the pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, CRO, or research reagent industries.
• Interest or foundational knowledge in drug discovery research (in vitro pharmacology, safety evaluation, ADME-Tox, etc.).
• B2B business experience including customer interactions and coordination with internal and external parties.
• Comfortable with email and online meetings in English.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a life sciences field.
