Resident Solutions Architect - Public Sector - Remote

Overview

The Resident Solutions Architect (RSA) will work on short to medium term customer engagements, focusing on big data challenges using the Databricks platform, providing data engineering, data science, and cloud technology projects.

In Short

• Handle impactful customer technical projects, including designing and building reference architectures.
• Work with engagement managers to scope professional services work.
• Guide customers in implementing transformational big data projects.
• Consult on architecture and design; bootstrap or implement customer projects.
• Provide escalated support for customer operational issues.
• Collaborate with technical and project management teams to meet customer needs.
• Work with engineering and customer support to guide resolution for engagement-specific issues.

Requirements

• US Top Secret Clearance required.
• 6+ years experience in data engineering and analytics.
• Proficiency in Python or Scala.
• Knowledge of cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Apache Spark and distributed computing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
• Understanding of MLOps.
• Experience in technical project delivery and management.
• Strong documentation and client management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel up to 30% when needed.
