The Manager of Coding Compliance for Orthopedic Surgery oversees the daily operations of charge capture activities, ensuring compliance and maximizing revenue.

  • Ensures completion of hospital missing charge lists.
  • Creates edits to reduce billing reductions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Skills in Accounting and Trend Analysis.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare regulations.
  • Experience in Coding Compliance and Medical Billing.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • No specific certification required.
  • Ability to manage compliance-related tasks efficiently.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in coding systems and compliance guidelines.
