Overview

As a global leader in commercial payments that powers international business by moving money with ease, Convera is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to support B2B sales across EMEA.

In Short

  • Business development and pipeline management for the education vertical
  • Lead client meetings to present the Convera value proposition and close new business
  • Collaborate internally with sales and product leadership to deploy innovative global payment solutions
  • Partner with clients to implement marketing best practices and generate transaction volume
  • Meet defined business targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Maintain understanding of the global education market and broader business/economic landscape to enhance your ability to meet and anticipate client requirements

Requirements

  • Self-starter with a hunter mindset and comfortable working in a remote environment
  • Strong experience within the fintech industry
  • Previous experience selling SaaS products preferred
  • Experience managing pipeline through Salesforce
  • Background in higher education preferred
  • Highly self-motivated and confident, with high integrity and tenacity to outperform the competition
  • Contribute a positive team environment and fully embrace diversity.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills across all media, as well as ability to use technology (e.g., MS Office, web conferencing, search engines, reporting tools and sales automation platforms such as Salesforce)
  • Financially astute with knowledge of business needs/concerns, as well as the commercial impact of global news and events
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Fluent in English and another EU language is essential
