Partner Technical Trainer / Instructor - Remote

Overview

Confluent is looking for a highly skilled and engaging Technical Instructor to deliver world-class instructor-led training on Apache Kafka and Confluent products to our Global & Regional System Integrators (GSIs/RSIs) partner ecosystem in the EMEA region.

In Short

• Conduct high-quality instructor-led training sessions (virtual and in person).
• Organize and deliver technical content focused on Kafka fundamentals and Confluent products.
• Foster strong GSI partner relationships and shape a strategic training plan.
• Collect feedback from training participants to improve course materials.
• Collaborate with the curriculum development team to update content.
• Stay current with Apache Kafka and Confluent’s products.
• Document best practices and common technical challenges.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure training content reflects the latest developments.
• Represent Confluent at partner training events and conferences.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a technical trainer or equivalent position.
• Expertise in Apache Kafka and familiarity with Confluent products.
• Proven experience delivering technical training to diverse audiences.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and real-time data streaming.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with designing strategic training plans.
• Proficient in at least one programming language, preferably Java.
• Familiarity with tools used in hands-on labs (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experienced with virtual classroom training tools, such as Zoom.
• Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.
