Overview

As an Engineering Manager on the Development Team, you will be working in a fast-paced Agile environment with a proven product and collaborating with talented team members to help Conexiom deliver a world-class software solution. We are a Microsoft .NET and Azure shop that provides our Conexiom SaaS solution in a global 24x7 production environment.

In Short

  • Takes ownership of projects and team deliverables, and follows through
  • Owns and leads the team in the design, implementation and architecture of features, and in fixing defects. Collaborates and validates technical design with architectural group.
  • Ensures all stories and technical tasks for the team are ready before sprint starts, and deliverables are completed at the end of each sprint.
  • Hiring, retaining, and motivating top engineering talent
  • Collaborating with the Product Team and other stakeholders in planning out deliverables
  • Makes improvements to the existing processes and tools, in collaboration with other engineering managers
  • Be a champion for test automation, code coverage and producing software that is high performance and bug-free
  • Is hands-on and dives deep to help the team solve technical issues as required
  • Meets 1-on-1 with team members regularly to coach and mentor

Requirements

  • At least 10 years software development experience with Microsoft .NET, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Restful Web APIs
  • Has at least 3 years experience as an engineering manager, technical lead or senior developer in leading, mentoring and managing developers and technical staff
  • Significant experience developing and supporting a 24x7 SaaS solution
  • Experience with the cloud stacks (Microsoft, Google or Amazon)
  • Significant experience with development tools (Visual Studio, Jira, TFS, MS SQL Management Studio, etc.)
  • Significant experience with the SDLC process (Design, Implement, QA, Release, Maintain)
  • Significant experience building an enterprise class business automation solution
  • Highly effective communicator and collaborator
  • Self-directed; executes on general goals and knows when and how to seek assistance from senior management
  • Proactive, results-oriented personality who takes initiative and seizes opportunities
  • Detail-oriented, analytical and focused on building maintainable and extensible solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Proven track record of working with a team that successfully delivers on a product vision
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Engineering
