Overview

The Director of Development is a key contributor on Code.org’s Revenue and Development team, responsible for stewarding and growing our largest existing donor relationships across individuals, foundations, and corporate partners.

In Short

  • Work with executive leadership on donor engagement.
  • Travel for team events.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in fundraising or enterprise sales.
  • Experience with high-value donor relationships.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of donor stewardship best practices.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRMs.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Mission-driven and curious mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Willingness to travel.
