Senior Director of Planning - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a visionary and execution-oriented Senior Director of Planning to own and integrate our entire planning function, including demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and forecasting tools. This leader will oversee and scale our end-to-end planning processes and build a high-performing team that ensures we are always in-stock, lean on inventory, and aligned to business goals.

In Short

• Lead, mentor, and grow the supply and demand planning teams.
• Build a scalable organizational structure supporting DTC and retail growth.
• Drive accountability across forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and customer fill rates.
• Own the integrated demand and supply planning process.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance for forecasts and planning.
• Identify and implement advanced forecasting software/tools.
• Set and monitor KPIs such as forecast accuracy and inventory health.
• Collaborate with IT for planning systems optimization.
• Drive visibility and strategy around inventory levels.
• Lead efforts to improve planning for product transitions and supplier reliability.

Requirements

• 10+ years in supply chain or planning roles, with 5+ years at a Director level or above.
• Proven track record in demand and supply planning in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep experience with forecasting systems and MRP/ERP integration.
• Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes and metrics.
• Exceptional communicator and collaborator with executive presence.
• Experience building and scaling high-performing teams.
