ClassWallet, a leading financial technology company in the United States, is seeking to hire a State Sales Director to join our team.

In Short

  • Responsible for cultivating relationships with key State and Local Government Agencies.
  • Develops and executes a strategic territory sales plan.
  • Manages/creates/expands new state and local sales opportunities.
  • Creates and closes opportunities to achieve assigned quota.
  • Educates and influences state and local agencies on upcoming RFPs.
  • Represents ClassWallet at State/National events.
  • Partner with system integrators and technology companies.
  • Negotiate state level contracts and close agreements.
  • Accurately forecast sales pipeline in our CRM (HubSpot).

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in government or public sector.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Experience with RFP processes and contract negotiations.
  • Ability to develop strategic sales plans.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, especially HubSpot.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
