Overview

The Director of Strategic Accounts-Oncology will serve as the pivotal liaison for key strategic accounts, overseeing oncology group purchasing organizations and collaborating with various teams to drive brand strategy and competitive intelligence.

  • Develop strategies to enhance VGCC testing through partnerships.
  • Lead efforts to increase adoption of Firdapse in oncology.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and regulatory teams.
  • Negotiate contracts influenced by collaborative bid grids.
  • Implement new care pathways to improve patient outcomes.
  • Build relationships with Oncology GPOs and strategic accounts.
  • Identify business opportunities and strategic alliances.
  • Educate colleagues on market trends and competitive intelligence.
  • Track product performance and communicate with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech industry, with oncology experience.
  • 3+ years in market access segments.
  • Experience in Regional/National Account Management.
  • Established relationships in GPO and distribution segments.
  • Understanding of products, therapeutic areas, and market dynamics.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently and travel over 50% of the time.
