Overview

The Regional Account Manager (RAM) will have direct responsibility representing Catalyst Pharmaceuticals products to medical professionals who specialize in the treatment of Neuromuscular diseases-(DMD) Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The RAM’s will be expected to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, competency and to always operate in a compliant manner while achieving their respective objectives. Maintain effective communication and relationships with key external and internal customers.

  • This is a remote position covering the Ohio Valley geography.
  • Potential candidates should reside in Kentucky, Ohio, or West Virginia.
  • Must have access to airports in major cities within those states.
  • Analyze local and regional business trends.
  • Meet regularly with targeted healthcare professionals.
  • Utilize a consultative, science-driven approach.
  • Manage a territory budget in compliance with policies.
  • Participate in local or national patient advocacy events.
  • 60% overnight travel is required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in life science, business, or healthcare preferred.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • Experience in Neurology or Rare/Orphan Space preferred.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with healthcare providers.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
