Overview

The Regional Account Manager is responsible for daily operations in the Central region of the United States, equipping account managers for success and handling contractor and client conflicts.

In Short

  • Handle important matters and conflicts with agencies’ executive management and contractors.
  • Review and research clients’ programs to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Knowledge of National, State, Local and client laws, regulations, opinions, and guidelines.
  • Manage quarterly reviews and audits with each client.
  • Prepare account budgets based on scope of work and resource requirements.
  • Track individual program costs to meet plan.
  • Develop and manage detailed program schedule and plan.
  • Provide program updates to management about strategy and progress.
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers.
  • Directly manage and provide training to Account Managers and staff.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of Job Order Contracting (JOC) experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a leadership role required.
  • Well-rounded construction experience with various types of construction.
  • Previous experience as a Regional Manager a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Professional credential (CJP, PMP, etc.) preferred.
  • Proven record with client-facing project management experience.
  • Strong client-facing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
