Plumbing / Fire Protection Designer III - Remote

Overview

This role is a remote position within the U.S. for a Plumbing / Fire Protection Designer III, working on various projects including new construction and renovations in educational, healthcare, corporate, and technology sectors.

In Short

• Design ductwork, piping, and equipment for plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Supervise or manage projects within the mechanical discipline.
• Prepare Revit/BIM models for plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Edit specifications for projects.
• Research and respond to emergent issues.
• Specify mechanical equipment such as boilers and chillers.
• Review shop drawings for compliance.
• Interface with clients and project teams.
• Conduct job site visits and participate in construction meetings.
• Coordinate work activities on projects.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a relevant field required.
• 6+ years of related experience required.
• Current CPD, PE or FPE preferred.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Working knowledge of engineering design programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to handle multiple projects effectively.
