Design Technologist - Remote

Overview

This position involves the implementation and management of design technology processes and standards across various projects, enhancing digital asset libraries, and supporting design teams.

In Short

• Responsible for design technology processes and technologies across projects.
• Create content to enhance digital asset libraries.
• Assist with BIM project execution planning.
• Define Level of Development/Detail for deliverables.
• Implement standard workflows and processes.
• Support primary design applications.

• Perform regular model audits for design teams.
• Enhance use of metadata in design processes.
• Lead Technology related R+D efforts.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in AEC industry, 3 years in design technology management.
• Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of professional services from planning to project close-out.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Technical knowledge of model authoring tools like Revit and analysis tools like Insight 360.
• Knowledge of Revit API preferred.
