Overview

The Human Resources Business Partner collaborates with managers and associates to develop people-related strategies and initiatives that align with Busey Bank's values and culture.

In Short

• Build and maintain partnerships with managers to meet strategic HR initiatives.
• Consult on HR issues including communication, development, and engagement.
• Guide leaders through transitions using change management best practices.
• Analyze data to identify trends and prepare recommendations.
• Support onboarding for new managers and associates.
• Oversee performance management processes and documentation.
• Promote a culture of excellence and high-performing teams.
• Educate management on associate relations and conflict management.
• Facilitate training programs to enhance associate skills.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR or PHR certification preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel to various locations as needed.
