Solution Consultant - R&D (Antibody Focus) - Remote

Overview

This role involves partnering with Benchling’s largest customers to create solutions that drive value in complex enterprise IT environments, focusing on the biotechnology sector.

In Short

• Primary solution lead for large customers and prospects.
• Work closely with sales leadership and account executives.
• Develop optimal solutions in complex IT environments.
• Engage with scientific and IT leaders from prospects and customers.
• Translate customer objectives into detailed solutions.
• Present and demonstrate solutions effectively.
• Provide insights to product management based on customer needs.
• Create reusable solutions and mentor other consultants.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites 25-30%.
• Work in a hybrid model.

Requirements

• PhD in a relevant Life Science field with 4+ years of experience.
• Experience in a lab or research setting, particularly in antibody discovery.
• Familiarity with scientific/informatics software.
• Ability to model scientific data and craft solutions.
• Understanding of research technology in biopharma.
• Agile and adaptable mentality.
• Ability to establish trust with scientific buyers.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Mentoring experience is a plus.
