Overview

The Specialty Representative in Dermatology will be responsible for executing brand strategies and managing sales performance in the St. Louis area, building strong customer relationships to maximize sales opportunities.

  • Field-based role covering St. Louis, Springfield, IL, Paducah, KY, and surrounding areas.
  • Deliver sales performance and meet brand KPIs.
  • Create and execute pre-call and post-call plans to improve sales.
  • Build trusted customer relationships and achieve win-win agreements.
  • Understand customer needs and market dynamics to optimize brand strategy.
  • Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with health providers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with disease state experts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for alignment on brand strategy.
  • Documented success in sales and leadership roles.
  • Must satisfy health care industry representative credentialing requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, or business-related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of relevant industry experience, with 3 years in the pharmaceutical/health industry preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Proven track record in sales performance and solid presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence and build collaborative partnerships.
  • Understanding of sales strategies and market dynamics.
  • Preferred experience in therapeutic areas and commercial pharmaceutical industry.
  • English language proficiency required.
  • Must meet HCIR credentialing requirements.
