Overview

The Sales Application Engineer will leverage civil engineering and survey expertise to drive growth in Trimble's Field Systems products and services within the survey and civil engineering sectors.

In Short

• Identify and support growth opportunities for Trimble Field Systems.
• Provide product training and pre-sale support to distributor management and sales teams.
• Engage in product releases and assist in resolving product performance issues.
• Participate in trade shows and user group events.
• Develop local partner sales and technical support personnel.
• Stay updated on Trimble technology and competitive offerings.
• Respond to escalated technical issues from dealers.
• Work collaboratively to achieve financial results.
• Travel frequently across Australia and occasionally to New Zealand.
• Contribute to quarterly reports and business updates.

Requirements

• Self-starter with a passion for customer satisfaction.
• Strong aptitude in civil construction and survey techniques.
• Excellent customer interaction experience.
• Fundamental selling skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions.
• Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Strong team player with a solution-driven mindset.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Clean driver’s license and current passport required.
