Application Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Application Engineer will support McWane Plant & Industrial's technical leadership initiative by providing application and specification support, reviewing specifications and drawing packages, and providing technical quotations in support of our customer growth strategy.

In Short

• Qualify incoming leads and collaborate with sales.
• Utilize online project tracking tools to identify opportunities.
• Respond to requests for quotes and build quote packages.
• Track and follow up on quotations and projects.
• Assist sales with technical information and specifications.
• Work with internal teams to establish pricing and specifications.
• Interpret specifications and drawings for bills of material.
• Support customers with application installations and troubleshooting.
• Provide feedback to product management for improvements.
• Maintain strong working relationships with customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.
• Superior organizational skills.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
