UVeye is looking for a highly skilled Application Engineer to join our Product & Projects Group and play a critical role in developing and deploying our advanced automotive inspection solutions.

In Short

  • Develop deep technical expertise in UVeye’s multi-disciplinary inspection systems to support product development and customer implementations.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams (Hardware, Software, AI, Computer Vision & Data Science) to define and develop new features, from the initial design until full execution at the customer site.
  • Lead and manage Alpha and Beta testing of new products and features at customer sites, both remotely and onsite.
  • Support the seamless transition of new products and processes from R&D to full-scale deployment, working closely with Customer Support and Engineering teams.
  • Act as a technical liaison, communicating and collaborating with customers, vendors, and third-party partners.
  • Drive Agile R&D matrix work, ensuring timely and high-quality execution of the product roadmap.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 2+ years of experience in a hands-on product-oriented role, preferably within a multi-disciplinary product environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Experience with Linux-based systems is advantageous.
  • Experience with cloud-based products is also an advantage.
  • Experience in multi-disciplinary systems involving hardware, software, and AI is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Hebrew.
