Software Engineer - Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) - Remote

Overview

The Software Engineer will join Salesforce's Einstein Foundations team to build scalable and intelligent distributed systems that support RAG pipelines and services, contributing to the next wave of enterprise AI.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in large-scale distributed systems.
• Proficiency in system design and microservices architecture.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java.
• Experience with scalable data pipelines (Kafka, Spark, Flink).
• Deep understanding of data storage and retrieval frameworks.
• Familiarity with LLMs and retrieval-based architectures.
• Solid understanding of API design and deployment.
• Ability to take projects from ideation to production.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with unstructured data at scale is a plus.
