Staff Software Engineer (Generative AI) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the development of innovative new systems and solutions making use of a rapidly emerging landscape of frontier AI capabilities.

In Short

• Create new business logic, leveraging RESTful API standards and best practices.
• Deploy and maintain databases and storage for applications in SQL and NoSQL styles.
• Design features that extend from the application user interface to underlying APIs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in backend or fullstack development.
• Experience with Python, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), and database systems.
• Deep understanding of ML practices related to foundation model integration.
• Ability to think critically about ambiguously stated problems.
• Understanding of API backends and practical experience in integrating APIs.
• Ability to visualize architecture of proposed systems.
• Competent in secured internal network environments.
• Familiarity with integrating large language models.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
